Teresa Pregizer, Substitute Teacher
Teresa has been working with children since the age of 12, and especially enjoys the preschool age group. She loves the curiosity of young children, and watching them learn and develop through play and interacting with the natural world.
With a Masters in Teaching from Biola University, Teresa has taught in public and private schools, and homeschool co-ops—with most of her experience in the preschool context. She is a proud BOPN parent-alumni, and has loved her time teaching with the BOPN summer program.
Growing up in California, Teresa took annual family vacations to Yosemite, and loved camping with the Girl Scouts—where she earned the Silver Award. These experiences sparked a love for the outdoors, which she enjoys passing on to her 3 children; while her husband—a scientist—shares his curiosity for the world with them.
Teresa recently returned to Yosemite, and climbed Half Dome with her husband and 15 year old son. She also has 2 daughters, ages 13 and 5. During the summer months they all enjoy going to the beach.
