Sudbury
Wolbach Farm | SVT
Here, we spend our days exploring the forest and fields of the Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge along the Sudbury River, and finding joy in a delightfully muddy childhood.
Our Wolbach Farm location offers mixed-age preschool, weekly summer sessions for children ages 2.9 - 8, and seasonal playgroups for our littlest learners!
Programs Available at Wolbach Farm
Children learn through play with mixed age peers, guided by trained educators. This transformative setting—rarely found in today’s world—provides a broad range of emotional and developmental benefits. BOPN programs focus on sensory exploration, honing fine and gross motor skills, and building community. Our nature-immersive classes spark curiosity and concentration, while fostering independence in young children.

“SVT is excited to welcome the young explorers of BOPN to Wolbach Farm. When kids explore trails, find frogs, and swing from branches they ignite their sense of wonder for nature and develop a lifelong love for wildlife and the outdoors. These kiddos will be the next generation of caretakers for our natural world.”
— Cecil Hynds-Riddle, Director of Development, SVT

“BOPN has been an excellent choice for my family. Both of my children have attended over the last 3 years. The teacher communication and collaboration goes far above and beyond. The teachers are always willing to help come up with individual plans for smooth drop off, potty training, snack preferences and social-emotional development. The program wants to partner with parents and offers free educational sessions to parents and caregivers, which was a HUGE help in our house! Administration is responsive to inquiries and integrates feedback from parents and families. There is a tremendous sense of community at the school and as a working parent, I felt involved and knew my children were being loved and cared for. My children have developed a lifelong love for nature, are resilient and have outstanding self-regulation and problem solving skills that I attribute to their time at BOPN. I am excited for BOPN to open at Wolbach Farm!”
