RoseLove Joseph, Teacher
RoseLove, an artist to her core and a student of life itself, chose the path of an herbalist to fuel her gift of producing, and youth engagement to pursue her passion for life!
She’s been working primarily with youth in Boston—dating back to 2012 at the Dimock Community Center, where she spent a few years as an Assistant Preschool Teacher while studying Liberal Arts at UMASS Boston. She worked as a camp counselor at Egelston YMCA in 2015, and then took a break from college to foster her other passions—music and horticulture.
Because of her strong desire to help children thrive in the best ways possible, RoseLove returned to youth work in 2019, right after creating her beautiful daughter. She served as a Youth Coordinator at Lena Park, and later in 2021 spent 3 years at The Maria L Baldwin Community Center—first as an afterschool teacher, and was soon integrated as an administrative assistant. During her time there, RoseLove created a Spotify podcast called Kidz Kast, made original music with the afterschool students, and practiced the “Nurtured Heart” approach—stimulating the social emotional intelligence of children, and fostering the positive aspect of any situation to invoke the concepts of connection and growth.
Which now brings RoseLove to the phenomenal BOPN community, combining both her interests and passion: The advancement of children, and the cultivation and knowledge of nature itself! She looks forward to creating the best of this wonderful opportunity to connect with nature, while learning with our little adventurous and curious friends!
