Natalie Seitz, Volunteer
Natalie finds she can learn something new everyday just by being present outside.
Natalie is a student at Boston University studying Psychology and Painting. She was raised in Southern California where she fell in love with the abundance of landscapes; from the rocky ocean coves she shared with the sea lions to wide desert landscapes scattered with cacti. After moving to Boston, she has found a love and appreciation for the incredible ways in which nature thrives in smaller spaces in the city. She finds she can learn something new everyday just by being present outside. Natalie is thrilled to be able to learn alongside the children at BOPN; to help nurture their exploration of the environment and connection with themselves and their peers.
Natalie has spent time babysitting, volunteering with kids, as well as living and working on farms dedicated to serving the community. She learned the importance of educating future generations on how to engage in respectful relationships with each other and with the Earth. After graduating, Natalie hopes to combine her passion for the arts, nature, education, and collaboration; She believes BOPN is a great embodiment of these values.
In her free time, she enjoys drawing outside, getting creative in the kitchen, walking aimlessly, basking in the sun, and being curious with her friends!
