Rachel Short, Intern

Rachel loved spending time outdoors with family as a child. Learning about the environment helped mold her character today!

Rachel currently attends Northeastern University, and is working towards a combined bachelor’s and master’s degree in public health. She is very passionate about education equity for preschool-aged children, and eager to help expand access to quality education for all children.

Rachel recently worked as an assistant preschool teacher, and loved guiding children along their experiential learning journey. She was amazed to witness the children grow, build friendships, and learn about the world around them!

Rachel grew up around nature, always spending time outdoors with her sisters. Their family regularly went on camping, hiking, and various other outdoor trips. She loved learning about the environment, and it helped mold her character today. Rachel is happy to be a part of BOPN, and help children develop and build relationships with nature!
